Dami — ‘I’m frustrated! I may just give up on life after this final attempt’.

Dami is at the verge of giving up on life. One reason is responsible — she has a ‘figure’/place/position she wants to be in life, she’s somewhere already, but who she is now can in no way compare with ‘who’ she wants to be.

If I were to ask you “Who are you?” what would your response be?

If I also asked you “Who do you want to be?” I hope you have an appropriate response for that too because defining who you are now and who you want to be in the near (or distant) future is your first step to fulfilling your dreams.

I give you a minute to ponder on those two questions, and give an accurate well-thought response before we proceed.

Done? Good! Now, you’re qualified to read on. ?

I want to teach you how to bridge the gap between your present and the future you want.

Hold on a bit, let me tell you this — Who you want to be is achievable, Do not Give Up!

Treat Yesterday as what it is — Yesterday

I love saying this a lot “ There’s no point crying over spilled milk, instead, learn the lesson and move on, never to allow the milk get spilled again”. Which is absolute true. Why cry over what you cannot change?! The past is the past, you are the only one who determines if that past will affect your present (and future) positively or negatively.

Turn Your Experience into a Stepping Stone

Your experience might be a good or bad one, however, see it as a stepping stone to attaining where you want to be. Nobody has had it all smooth in life, we have only decided to keep moving forward no matter what life throws at us.

Have Big Dreams

You’ll be doing yourself an unintended harm if you because of the situations of today, make small plans. Truth be told, there are hardships on the way to the top, but one thing is certain, the ‘top’ exists! So, aim for it!

Have the ‘Game On’ Mentality

This will keep you thriving despite all odds. Failure isn’t the end of the game for you dear, it only means it’s time for you to pause and re-strategize.

Giving up on life is never an option, you’ve got to keep aiming and pushing to become the ‘person of your dreams’.

Learn from the past, make your experience a stepping stone to being who you want to be, have big dreams, and keep the game on!

Are you encouraged that you can be who you want to be?
